Inspection is when a property inspector surveys and investigates property for problem areas including foundation, wiring, plumbing, and much more. This is at the buyer’s expense. The buyer may opt out, but it’s not recommended. If the inspector finds issues, the buyer can decide not to purchase and escrow money will be returned.
